TikTok Food Trends Worth Trying
Confession time. I’ll be browsing TikTok and next thing I know, two hours have flown by. If you’ve also fallen down the TikTok rabbit hole, you know that it is a goldmine of content, whether it be dances or funny videos. But I think one of the best things to come out of TikTok are the innovative takes on food. In this blog, we round up some of the best TikTok food trends we think could actually be worth the hype.
Starbucks TikTok Drink

Did you know that Starbucks has an unofficial Secret Menu, where you can order just about anything? This refreshing drink, appropriately named the Starbucks TikTok Drink, has made its way on the Secret Menu after going viral on TikTok. It’s not only refreshing, but it has a bright pink hue that gives it an Instagram-worthy aesthetic. To order it for yourself, ask for a venti Strawberry Acai Refresher blended with three scoops of blackberries, three scoops of strawberries, and a scoop of ice. The only problem is you may get brain freeze from drinking it too fast.
Cake Mix Fruit Cobbler
@ravenelysetv Canned fruit of choice, layer of cake mix, layer of butter. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes! ##cherrydumpcake ##BeatTheZombieFunk ##SnickersFixTheWorld

This food hack takes basic boxed cake mix from tiring to tasty, plus it’s an easy and cheap way to make a shareable dessert to bring to a potluck or party. Pour canned cherries (peaches would also work great) in a lightly oil coated pan and evenly cover with a vanilla boxed cake mix. Sprinkle with cinnamon, coat the mixture with thinly sliced pieces of butter, and then sprinkle again with cinnamon. Bake it at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until lightly browned and crisped. Bonus points if you serve this with ice cream!
@mimibeaar Had to try this!🔥😋 ##PeachRings ##Chamoy ##Lucas ##snack ##fyp

Different variations of this hot and sweet peach ring snack are everywhere on TikTok. This version requires you to simply throw some peach rings in a bowl, drizzle them with Lucas Gusano, and finally coat with Lucas Chamoy. We have a feeling this is one of those things you’ll either love or hate, but there must be a good reason why this snack is going viral.
Cookie Dough Oreo Brownies

Cookies are delicious, Oreos are great, and brownies are delightful. So it’s no wonder that combining them creates a delectable dessert that has the entire TikTok community talking. Mash cookie dough on a lightly oil coated pan to create a layer that’s about an inch thick. Next, place a layer of Oreos on top and pour a brownie batter mix over everything. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes, and viola! Serve this one with an ice cold glass of milk.

@ohmymisty How to make Whipped Coffee Lattes ☕️ ☁️ ##tiktokcoffee ##coffee ##foodhacks ##happyathome ##lifehack ##coffeehack

Our mouths are watering for this creamy whipped coffee latte, and chances are you already have all of the ingredients at home. Whisk together 2 tablespoons of instant coffee, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of hot water until you achieve a whipped texture (this might take awhile, so be patient). Fill up a cup halfway with ice and your choice of milk, then finally pour the whipped mixture on top. The result is a heavenly cup of joe that looks decadent enough to impress your guests.
What did you think of these food trends from TikTok? I personally can’t wait to give the whipped coffee latte a try. Let me know in the comments below if you plan to try any!
