This year we will continue to see some significant changes when it comes to weddings. As brides adapt to Zoom weddings and smaller, more intimate ceremonies, their dress choices will change too. Some brides will go for dramatic gowns since they are itching for a party, while others will take the opportunity to adopt more untraditional styles. Here are the year’s top wedding dress trends that brides will say “I do” to.

Gatsby-Inspired
Vintage luxury is making a return, and we are excited for pearls, drop-waists, and slim silhouettes that remind us of the roaring 20’s.

Capes & Capelets

Brides will embrace elegance by adorning their shoulders with capes and capelets of all shapes and sizes.

Dramatically Backless

We’ll see dramatically low backless gowns, adding a touch of sexy in all the right places.

Exaggerated Bows

Brides will resemble presents on their big day by incorporating oversized bows - a feminine accent that works with many dress types.

Statement Ruffles

Poof, floof, and flare. Ruffles will embellish sleeves, skirts, trains, and every other aspect of wedding dresses. The bigger the better.

Poofy Sleeves

Brides will be seen with sleeves of all sorts, but especially puff, peasant, cape, bishop, and balloon.

Square Necklines

A square neckline will add a modern twist to many gowns in 2021. We are seeing it often paired with simple, silky, and crêpe dresses.

Untraditional Lengths

Rules are meant to be broken this year. Brides are going for short, high-low, and tea length dresses - possibly as a result of smaller, more intimate wedding ceremonies being trendy.
