This season is introducing several new exciting accessory trends, most of which lean towards bold and elegant styles. Get a first look at what will be popular this fall by checking out these looks found on the runway.

Chains

The chain trend is persisting through this season in a big way, quite literally. Big, bold chains as necklaces and earrings are undeniable staples, especially in gold.

Ribbons (especially black) are being put in the hair, on clothing, and pretty much everywhere. Nail the look by getting a black headband adorned with a bow, or tying a dainty ribbon around your ponytail.

One of the “it” colors this season is a stunning pistachio green. Pair it with neutral colors, like nude or black, to make it pop on bags and jewelry.

Pearls

Adorn yourself with white pearls to add feminine flair and elegance. Note that the pearl accessories we are seeing look more modern since they are often paired with unique and non traditional shapes.

Statement Chokers

Chokers are back, but this time as heavy statement pieces. Go for thick, tubular shapes and metallics. And when in doubt, aim for clean lines.

Clutches

Likely thanks to the huge success of the Bottega Veneta clutch, many designers are showcasing new clutches in a variety of forms, especially leather and velvet.

Tights with bold and unique patterns, like the wave pattern worn by the model above, will help you stay cozy under dresses and skirts. It’s also worth noting that tights with designer logos are especially trendy at the moment.

Head Scarves

Punch up your outfit with little effort (and maybe even hide a bad hair day) with a patterned and colorful scarf. There are a variety of ways to tie them, but we are mostly seeing models wear them as bandanas, like in the picture above.

Cheers to the changing season and to new styles to experiment with!
